Is this feature request (combined uppercase lowercase extension filter) nautilus related?

When a webpage input requests .Rmd files, the file browser/selector filter (ubuntu 23) shows .rmd or .RMD, but not .Rmd (desired).
Is this a valid feature request for nautilus?

Hi, the current file picker is part of GTK, not nautilus.

The filters used by the GTK file chooser and by the file chooser portal (in case the browser is not using GTK directly) are both case sensitive (on Linux):

So it is the responsibility of the application (i.e. the browser) to specify all possible cases since HTML expects the patterns to be case insensitive.

Example in unix & linux shows the browser / html is asking for .Rmd
It seems to occur only in Chrome. So it is not gtk related
