Using Evolution v3.52.3, on Gnome v46.3.1 (if that matters)
In the calendar, most of the time I’m using the “work week” view. I have configured the “day begins” at 08:30, and “day ends” at 17:30 (24-hours format). Looking at the calendar, the band of work hours is displayed with a background color different as the times outside this band.
My question: is there a setting, or CSS tweak, or any other means of not showing the hours that are not within the limits of my work hours? In my opinion, a lot of space is wasted that could be used to improve the view of appointments within work hours.
Hi,
there is no such option, I’m sorry. You may just scroll the view down,
to see the first working hour. The part you won’t see might not bother
you much, I hope. You can change the time division to see the events in
more or less detail, which uses more or less vertical space.
Bye,
Milan
Thanks for taking the time to reply. You are correct, the nonwork hours are of no interest for myself.
I have set the “time division” to 15 mins. That combined with scrolling to “day start” is the view that I was hoping to get. I will try that for the coming days and see how practical it is for my needs. At first glance, the scroll position is unfortunately not preserved when clicking through the month calendar in the sidebar.
