I’m maintaining an extension with the id focused-window-dbus@flexagoon.com. However, I changed my domain a while ago, and I’d like to rename the extension to focused-window-dbus@fxgn.dev. Is this possible to do without publishing it as a separate extension?
No, it’s not possible.

Extension’s uuid is not something that needs to be pointing to a real domain. Most users won’t know about that until they’re looking for it.
If you really want to change that, you can publish another extension and inactivate the extension using the first uuid but I don’t recommend that since it has almost 1k downloads and users won’t be able to update that after you move to new a uuid.
