Meson 0.58 adds a meson devenv command which takes care of setting PATH, GI_TYPELIB_DIR, and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Is there any gnome repository which utlizes devenv ? I want to know how it is used 
Meson 0.58 is exceedingly new, so I doubt people have started depending on devenv.
GNOME developers that use a separate development environment typically use tools like JHBuild.
