Ideas for Promoting GNOME

Hi all,

I have some ideas that may help get more people to choose GNOME for their GNU/Linux distros, bring new people into the community, and educate people on GNOME.

  1. Create a YouTube channel, for tutorials on how to use GNOME, some Q&A videos, and educating people about GNOME.
  2. Create an account on X (formerly Twitter) and send short tweets about developments within the GNOME project.
  3. Leadership should start some activities within the community to spread the word about GNOME on other platforms or to the general public.
  4. A feature could should be integrated into the GNOME desktop environment which would invite new users of GNOME to the communities site. This should boost engagement.
