Hi. I love this elegant software but have one question. How to export my creation to a higher resolution file than what it seems to default to, which is only 500 x 300. Thank you very much.

Dear Sid. Thank you for responding. I had no idea who to ask. Here is a screen shot of the About pop up.
I tried enlarging the work area via File\Page Setup\Paper Size. I started my project paper size at A4 and when finished, I exported the file to find it was very much smaller, 509 x 309 pixels (about a 3 inch by 5 inch final image). Any ideas on how to get an A4 file to export as A4. Thank you.
Please note that dia has not made a release in the recent past though it’s still being developed. Not sure what’s the status with the Windows version.
But, if your issue is printing size, you can export your diagram to .svg etc (which is a vector representation of your diagram), and you can resize and print it from vector graphics editing software like Inkscape [1], which is great and opensource.
Also, you can report issues in Dia directly to the issue tracker [2].
