Hello. I am new to Linux and am using Manjaro GNOME.
My F8 key causes this weird sign to appear on my screen
which prevents me from using F8 in other applications.
How do I remove that?
In addition, I have an issue with dosBOX.
I am using dosBOX for school and am using TurboDebugger. When I press on the TD application in DBOX in locks my keyboard and mouse to that window which I cannot escape. Is there a fic to that too?
What’s written (or what symbol) is on your F8 key ? (maybe a picture of the aforementioned key?) Are you pressing the Fn key ?

This doesn’t seems to be something related to GNOME so you’re probably better of asking in their forum.
It’s likely that your keyboard only emits Function keys when pressing the Fn key (or similar), and by default the “F8” key is really the Windows “switch to another output” key.
Please, ask on a DOSBox support forum.
