I’m used to tkdiff for the most part, but like meld when diff’ing whole directories. But I cannot seem to find a way to see the number of differences per file. How do I do that? I can diff two files in meld and cycle through the diffs, but I never see the total count anywhere.
Meld doesn’t show difference counts anywhere. It’s not technically difficult, but I don’t think we’ve had this request come up before. Could you explain why you find this information useful?
Also, please feel free to create at issue at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/meld/-/issues!
Thanks for replying! I really like to see the diff count to see what I’m dealing with, is it a few or tons of diffs? If not a ton, sometimes I’m making changes in real time and then like to Refresh to see the diff count change.
