I typed in a server destination IP (192.168.1.11) that Deja Dup does not like.
However I cannot find out how to change it or choose a local destination instead.
It just keeps coming up with:“The server’s network location ‘192.168.1.11’ does not look like a network location.”
So. how do I clear the current config?
Hello! What version are you using?
That error message sounds like what you get when you’re missing a protocol like sftp:// or webdav://. So that’s probably the original issue. But you say you can’t change the location. Have you gone into the app preferences? It should be a field that you can change there.
(To answer your actual question, you should also be able to clear the config by running gsettings reset-recursively org.gnome.DejaDup
on the terminal if you installed Deja Dup from your distro.)
Thank you.You were right on all three counts.
The terminal reset worked. I had left out smb:// and then I found the preferences under the hamburger…
Backup worked. Now to test restores…
Only installed Unbuntu the day before. Thanks for you help.
