How to report or fix a documentation typo?

You main entry point in Using GtkApplication - GNOME Developer Documentation

On the bottom left of the page you’ll find a section with links for:

  • showing the raw text of the source page
  • showing the source page inside the Git repository
  • editing the source page using the GitLab web UI

For the latter, you will need an account on the GNOME GitLab; once you edit it from the web UI, it’ll create a merge request that will be reviewed by the maintainer (me).

Editing the source page with web UI asks to fork the repo which after signup failed with:

– Limit reached Personal project creation is not allowed. Please contact your administrator with questions

Github setup seems to need some grooming.

This is as far as I can go at the momment.

You need to add a SSH key to your GitLab profile, because spam bots have been targeting GNOME infrastructure with fake accounts.

Same error after ssh key added.

How long after you added the SSH key did you try the fork? After a key is added in the profile settings, it may take up to 20 minutes before your account limits are updated.

You were right. Fork worked after some time.

Merge request posted.

Thank you.
