It seems like the merging of branches of libgweather is too slow, taking upwards of 2 years to be merged. I am talking about the locations.xml update merges.
Can it be faster?
No, it can’t be faster unless you find a way to add more people to the review pool, and you ensure that people update their merge requests.
I generally try and review every open MR before the string freeze, to maximise the limited amount of time I can devote to the project.
This cycle I actually spent time in trying and splitting the locations database out of the library, but it’s not entirely trivial.
