How do you configure your displays for GDM?

  1. If you can, log into a Wayland GNOME session.
  2. Change some display settings and apply them.
  3. Run the following commands
    sudo cp ~/.config/monitors.xml -t ~gdm/.config
sudo chown gdm: ~gdm/.config/monitors.xml
