I had recently installed the extension Highlight Focus from extension manager. However after trying to disable, remove and reinstall the extension I still get a lag and stutter while switching windows.
This is the code for the extension enable while this is the code for disable. I am unsure if all enabled changes are reset when the extension is disabled.
I would be extremely thankful if someone could help. Thank you

Nope, it connects signals to global.display and global.window_manager, then loops through all the signal handlers and tries to disconnect them all from global.window_manager.

Sorry, I don’t really have time to review the whole extension. If you’re asking why there is lag, even after disabling the extension, I would say that is why.
It would probably be helpful to the maintainer if you included the problem I identified for you.
