GTK application artifacts system-wide

Under gnome since an update (40 I think), all GTK applications seem to have all kinds of artifacts/broken styles, such as flashing elements on hover, boxy shadows, etc.

Example Nautilus:

I did mess around with theming a while ago, but right now all settings should be the default, disabling extensions does not seem to matter either.

I’m not really familiar with the gtk/gnome architecture, so I’m looking for pointers, what I should look for to unbork my system.

I’m on GNOME 46 and arch btw.

That does not look like the default theme. Are there maybe some leftover CSS files in ~/.config/gtk-4.0/?

That was it, thank you!
