I assume you’re referring to issue 247.
It’d probably be fixed faster if people contributed a fix for it.
I see. But the problem is several years long. There is a script, which was recently updated and now it actually adds any city with correct weather! There is no need to maintain cities list at all. Here add-location-to-gnome-weather.sh · main · Julian / scripts · GitLab
That does not mean that any volunteers have magically showed up to do the work.
