I have no idea what’s the inbox for and how to use it. Can someone explain?

I don’t really have a good answer to that question, but you might find this wiki page helpful. The “Inbox” might represent the “Capture” phase, but I think that there is still some work left before it really fulfills that purpose.
The Inbox is just barely implemented. It currently misses a lot of stuff to be even remotely useful. However, sadly, given the pace of development, I don’t think people would have wanted to wait another 4 years for it to land before releasing it.
I was a curious about this myself as it’s featured so prominently in the 40.0 release. Would you mind elaborating on what the inbox’s current or intended purpose is?
