Where is the backup copies folder in Gnome-subtitles?
I am using GS 1.7.2 on Mint 19.3 and I have it configured to make backup copies every 2 minutes but I can’t find the folder where the copies are stored. It is not included in the manual either
Got the solution from Pedro Castro, the developer:
Backup files are stored in the same folder as the original files.
Their filename is the same as the original files but with a tilde (~) at the end. They usually appear hidden in the file explorer by default.
I’m using Caja and I was just activating “Show hidden files” but with files with (~) I had to activate “View-Show backup files”. Now I can see them
