Gnome mouse cursor

I can’t seem to find any discussion(s) on Adwaita vs Breeze Light mouse cursor in Gnome? My 47.4 has Breeze Light and I was wondering why it wasn’t Adwaita…or if there currently is such.

Have you been using KDE as well? It will change the cursor theme of GNOME (Breeze is KDE’s default). There was a recent discussion on this.

Nope only simple Gnome here. Thanks to the discussion you posted, it did give me an idea and I was able to go into the ‘dconf Editor’ and resolve the issue that’s been gnawing at me. THX!

Edit: I’m sure this mouse cursor is an artifact of bringing my separate partitioned /Home folder across a couple distros using KDE. That is until I realized the drama of the desktop and all its purdy aberrations are intentionally addictive and unnecessary. I gnome now and appreciate the one true workflow… :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

We don’t see anything on your screenshot …

You’re seeing my desktop, a bare blackboard, clearly nothing to see there. The ‘panel’, always present, shows there’s something happening elsewhere, and the date and time, I go to the Activities Overview if I need/want more…in pure Gnome workflow fashion. Apple and Microsoft have successfully conditioned their aesthetics (hook) into the droned masses, the Linux competition today is who can tweak their ‘visual effects’ for the greatest amount of endorphins. FWIW and IMHO, drama (aesthetics) is the majority of Linux videos on the net and simply the obvious rivalry between other DE’s, WM’s and OS’s, and while such antagonism garners clicks and views, it literally has nothing to do with the real “tools” of computing. I insist on leaning a little more into the boring endeavor of removing “drama” from my personal computer (PC) experience (hook-less). BAM!

I wonder if fastfetch is ‘hooking’ enough…it’s all I got!
