GNOME GitLab doesn't verify my email account

This could be a known issue, but I couldn’t find any information about it.
I use a specific email address ending in gmx.com for OSS projects, as shown in the following examples:
(GitHub Web UI doesn’t show my email address, but cloning the repo shows it)

But I cannot verify my email address in GNOME GitLab. I tried to resend the verification email, but I didn’t receive it. It’s possible that my email vendor is blocking emails from GitLab, or GitLab filters out email addresses ending in gmx.com.

Is there any way to solve this issue, for example, by having the admin update the email address of my account? My GNOME GitLab user account is bclee.
