Gnome file thumbnail quality

I’ve modified nautilus source to display thumbs/icons in grid mode up to 800% as I would like to rename scanned PDF files with out having to open them. Unfortunately the quality is subpar. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction of the code that is responsible of setting the thumb image quality.

Thanks!

Hi Dan, the linked MRs in this issue might help https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/2487

However, maybe you’d prefer to instead install ‘sushi’ and use it to preview the documents with the spacebar shortcut.

Sorry for the reply p3732. I didn’t have time to figure out the issues in regards to imagine quality, but sushi is working very well.

Thanks.
