Gnome doesn't show icons for newly installed applications

Hey everybody! I have gnome latest version on fresh arch installation and problem is:

Gnome doesn’t display newly installed application icons even if I change icon theme.
gtk-update-icon-cache also doesn’t work.
Anyway, Gnome 4 is beautiful and I think that problem is solvable.

Does it show the correct application name outside the overview or when hovering a dash icon? If not, can you try running update-desktop-database?

A small nitpick though, it’s GNOME 40 (as in: … 3.36, 3.38, 3. 40), not GNOME 4 (as in: a “UI API” bump).
