Apparently Console doesn’t start on the 48.rc image.

Installed Ptyxis from nightly quick via GNOME Software to find out why.

I’m getting the same error - I’m running GNOME 48.rc with gnome-console 47.1-1 on Arch Linux from gnome-unstable repository.

Looks like this has been reported and fixed upstream, but there hasn’t been a new release tagged that incorporates the fix yet:

Should 'gnome-shell-extensions' be included in the NEWS package list?

No: the gnome-shell-extensions module has been removed from core. The extensions are still maintained, and released alongside GNOME Shell, but they are not part of the GNOME release any more.

Yes the console release is running a bit late but there will be one for 48.0

Does the new GNOME 48 improve and ship by default the fractional scaling feature for wayland protocol?
