Yeah I just didn’t realize that 4.3 was supposed to be an unstable version series. I was expecting it to either use clearly-unstable numbers like 4.2.90 or .91 or else use .alpha or .beta. If fact, I didn’t realize 4.3 was unstable until right now!
(That’s why GNOME ditched the even/odd version scheme: there’s no way for the humans consuming your software to know what the numbers mean.)
