GNOME Nepal successfully conducted a 2.5-hour Git & GitHub session at St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu, Nepal. The session was conducted at the request of the SandBox Hackathon team.
The total participation was 56 attendees. 3 mentors/instructors from the GNOME Nepal and Ubuntu Nepal communities came together to make this session successful. The instructors were: Mr. Aaditya Singh, Mr. Aakash Rana, and Mr. Manuj Babu Karki.
The participants learned about Git, its introduction and importance, and usage of Git in open source, GitHub, and many more. The session was filled with hands-on training.
