GIMP 3.0.2 shows Adwaita-style window buttons (min,max,close) instead System installed

Hi,

I’m using GIMP 3.0.2 installed via APT on Debian. My system is set to use the adw-gtk3-dark GTK theme with the Yaru-blue icon theme. All other GTK apps (like Nautilus and GNOME Boxes) show Yaru-style min/max/close buttons.

However, GIMP still shows the default Adwaita-style window buttons, which makes it visually inconsistent with the rest of my desktop. I have tried both “merge menu and title bar” and Seprate menu and title bar. Both doesn’t respect System theme icons.

Is there any way to make gimp respect the system button icon-theme?
