Full text search with Tracker3

My day-to-day computer with Debian Testing is using Gnome 46.

When I search with tracker3 it only gives me matching file names, but there is no full-text search. I used to have full-text search in Gnome.

What happened?

i have it working on debian testing:

the quote "if a gardener spent as much time fixing her shovel as we spend fooling around with computers" showing up in nautilus search

are the files you want to find in an indexed folder?

I’ve just noticed the same problem. Some of my files were found with a full text search, but others were not. I didn’t run the debug commands mentioned in the FAQ, but I ran tracker3 status and nothing showed up for a particular file which the full-text search was not working on.

Recreating the index fixed it.
tracker3 reset --filesystem
