Flatpak permissions - what are the settings required?

Hi, currently I am a shotwell user (using the ubuntu packages). I want to move to flatpak, but I cannot get the permissions correct. For example, what are the settings to enable Shotwell to access other apps in the system? I want to use the Open in external editor / raw editor commands, but the flatpak app cannot see those other apps in the system. The settings menu in Shotwell is blank.

Question:

  • What are the specific settings that I should enter in for Shotwell in Flatseal?

Feature Request

  • On Startup if app = flatpak, then show a window explaining what settings the user should enable via command line or flatseal to allow it to work as normal.
