You can’t use GNOME in your app name, see GNOME’s Software Policy. You also might want to check the chapter on “App Naming” in the GNOME HIG.

Thanks for the info, I’ll probably name the app “GConvert”, but since it’s not decided yet, other ideas would be welcome.

Both the Flathub guidelines and GNOME HIG suggest not doing this

Likewise, a good name should avoid: […] Having a “G” prefix (for example: GMusic).

You can take a look at typical app names at Apps for GNOME – Discover the best Apps for GNOME

The second member of the Git project chose the name: FlatConverter.
Its new location is: https://gitlab.gnome.org/qsk/flatconvert
We are making all the necessary changes.

FlatConverter is a good name BTW  really like it, its more original. And I’m gonna try the app later!

Likewise, a good name should avoid: […] Non-standard punctuation or whitespace (for example: SuperWriter).

No weird formatting […] Bad examples […] ApostropheEditor

Thank you, your comments would be welcome to improve the application.

The installation packages (.deb, flatpak, etc.) are not yet available but will be soon.

Currently, you must install the application manually.
