Firmware update "secure boot dbx" paused and impossible

Hello, I recently installed vanilla os, for its security side. I have a problem with the firmware update “secure boot dbx” which does not want to be done, the updates are paused because I am connected to the internet with my phone. I am forced to connect like this and is there a way to force the update, which is also important.Thank you

Even if automatic updates are paused, you can press the update button manually and do the update anyways, no?

If your phone’s network doesn’t have a cap on the amount of traffic (i.e. it’s an unlimited data plan), you might want to go to Settings > Wifi > The gear next to your phone’s hotspot network and uncheck the Metered connection setting. This tells GNOME that it shouldn’t try to save on network usage

For application and system updates, it works. It’s just the secure boot update that doesn’t want to.

I don’t have an unlimited connection, but normally I had already deactivated the limited connection.

But it doesn’t change anything.

Appears to be a fwupd related issue, which takes care of firmware updates in GNOME Software.

Please report an issue in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/-/issues.

Okay, I’ll take care of it. I looked on the net, and I found a lot of feedback on fwupd but unfortunately not for my case. Thanks anyway.

It could be an issue with 'fwupd' package or GNOME Software’s 'fwupd' plugin which talks to 'fwupd'.

Raising an issue in GNOME Software should clarify where the issue belongs.
