Files (Nautilus) Slow to Start and Error in Terminal

I am using Debian 10 with Xfce 4.12 and the Nautilus version installed is Files 3.30.5-stable.

When I try to start it up in a terminal (to see what is going on, I get this error:

(nautilus:6115): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 12:18:48.034: g_object_unref: assertion ‘G_IS_OBJECT (object)’ failed

Then the program finally starts up after a long wait of a couple minutes.
