Fedora User Login Screen - Do not clear password if entered wrong

I have a several words passphrase to login to my user account on Fedora login screen. Usually I end up typing a letter wrong.

Is it possible to not clear the password when I did a mistake, I would like to manually inspect the password and correct mistakes (which is usually just one or two letters).

Guess that would introduce a security risk.

If a user presses 'Enter' key after entering an incorrect password (maybe a single character error), assuming the right password has been entered and leaves the desk, a malicious user can use it to view the password.

May be user can have an option to enable this feature if desired. So only those who want it can opt-in.
