Feature Request: Double Clicking on empty space should go up a folder

In windows (using qttabbar) and in Nemo

There’s a cool feature that let you go up a folder if you double click on an empty space.

I think it would be nice if it was configurable from the preferences menu

Hi, this does not seem very appealing to me, it can cause unexpected navigation and would be too obscure to warrant a preference.

There are many options to go up:

  1. Backwards/forward keyboard/mouse buttons and the buttons in the header bar
  2. Clicking on the folder in the path bar
  3. Press / if you just want to go to root
  4. Alt+Up Arrow

1, 2, and 3 covers 99% of use cases IMO
