In Windows 7, Microsoft introduced a context menu option to copy a file or folder’s full path to the clipboard. This ‘Copy as path’ option is invaluable when interacting with files.

In GNOME Files, if you copy a file, its path os copied as well. Just try to copy the file and paste it into the text editor or terminal, for example.
