Currently, within the GNOME settings, users can map a drawing tablet’s buttons to various key inputs. However, in my opinion it would significantly enhance the user experience if these button assignments could be app-dependent.
For instance, the ability to assign a specific function to a button while using Krita and then have that same button perform a different action while working in Blender would be immensely beneficial.
As far as i’m aware, GNOME currently lacks this specific functionality, and adding it could be beneficial to some.
