Expected behavior with multiple selected layers (3.00 RC2)?

  • I make a rectangle selection
  • I selected multiple layers
  • Edit > Copy
  • Edit > Paste as > Floating selection
  • With multiple layers still selected: I get new plain layers and a message telling that floating data is not possible due to multiple targets (but it would have been better to disable the choice?)
  • With a single layer a target: I get new plain layers, and no messages (here too, disabling the choice would make sense IMHO)

I want to apply an identical transform to the same area in several layers.

  • I create a selection over the area.
  • I select multiple layers
  • I start the transform and apply
  • I get a single floating selection, that anchors into a single layer, the other selected layers aren’t changed. No message.
