Evolution spam plugin (bogofilter, spamassassin or both?)

Hi,

I’ve read that evolution has plugins for bogofilter and spamassassin to deal with junk/spam messages. Is one better than the other? Can I install the evolution plugins on my machine and assume they will work out of the box, or do I need to do configuration afterward? How does evolution decide what gets marked as junk/spam without these plugins installed and configured?

Hi,
it’s not accurate. What evo does with respect of junk filtering can be
found at Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->Junk. When you’ve
installed either the Bogofilter or the Spamassassin (or both) plugins,
the options for the chosen plugin will be shown there as well.
