This happens with all recipients in all accounts. I am using Evolution already for several years and I never had a problem of this type. I searched for a setting to correct this, but I don’t found any.

Please ask your distribution to ship an updated WebKitGtk version for

Hi,
this is not accurate. In fact, I’d not be surprised it’s the opposite.
They probably updated WebKitGTK, but they missed to update also
Evolution, which needed several fixes to work with dropped frame
flattening in the WebKitGTK.
If you want to get to the latest Evolution without playing with the
distro, then probably the best choice is to use a Flatpak (Flathub.org)
version of it, which has its limitations, but maybe not that sever.
I’m not sure whether it’ll really work, but could change width of the preview panel when this happens? That can help sometimes. Getting newer/latest Evolution will avoid a need for such workarounds.
Self considering Preview Panel shrinking with recent upgrade and if the Text Editor settings changed ?
I’m sorry, I do not follow what you mean with the above.
Where best to find and read the upgrade details ?
That’s possibly a question for your distribution. Respective packages provide “change logs” by their own way. For example Evolution-related projects use the NEWS file. Not every change can be recorded in the “change logs”, it’s up to the projects what they write there.
