Google Summer of Code 2020

Google Summer of Code 2020 have started and a news item which includes the students
and the their respective projects is available at News – The GNOME Foundation

The projects includes:

• Clarissa Borges – Evaluation of requirements, content, design and components for the refresh of gnome.org

• Mariana Pícolo – Redesign of the GNOME Shell Notification popover

• Alejandro Domínguez – Support for multiple user accounts in Fractal

• Adwait Rawat Adding UI for importing and managing firmware in GNOME Games

• José F Lorenzo-Hernández – Improvements to battery testing

• Neville Antony – Implement Collections in GNOME Games

Challenge Update
The deadline to enter the Coding Education Challenge is 7/1 2020. We hope to double the number of entries we receive by then and would love to receive more proposals from Mexico, Central America and Asia.
