Duplicate files "_shotwell" "_embebed" are created

Hi,

each time I enter to Shotwell, it scans my library and creates new files ending with _shotwell or _embebed, duplicating my exisiting JPG files and consuming a lot of disc space. How to avoid it?

I tried disabling the auto-scan option in Preferences menu, and running “shotwell --no-runtime-monitoring” but it doesn’t have any effect.
