Disply in GtkDropDown when set to GTK_INVALID_LIST_POSITION

When I have a GtkDropDown set to GTK_INVALID_LIST_POSITION the widget displays (none).
Is there a way to set this to another string (or preferable blank like ComboBoxText is)?
