Deja Dup Backups Fail; Error: NotDirectory

I hope someone can help. I am stalled on an OS upgrade until this is resolved.
Deja Dup Backups Fail; Error: NotDirectory
I have used Deja Dup for over 5 years, and on Ubuntu Studio for about 18 months. This is the first fault I have encountered.

I have searched both here and gitlab.gnome.org with no matching topics or bugs.
Deja Dup is updated to

  1. Version=46.1 (flatpak) from a Ubuntu distribution
  2. I also removed Deja Dup in Discover then reinstalled with the Ubuntu 4.2-2 source to ensure it is the Ubuntu approved version
  3. I then selected [Backup Now] Deja Dup failed with the same error
This is the detail Debug line
    IsADirectoryError: [Errno 21] Is a directory: b /fvxts/yxjln/cmwbcxgvv/cmwbcxgvv/duplicity-new-signatures.20240616T000228Z.to.20240616T000539Z.sigtar

I am confused because the debug file shows Ubuntu Studio as [flatpak] Is this an error or really true?
This is Ubuntu’s About this System info.
Operating System: Ubuntu Studio 23.10

I have created a bug report at

But I need a workaround, preferably graphic, to complete a backup before I can upgrade to Ubuntu Studio 24.04 LTS as my version 23.10 is no longer supported.

The bug report #498 has been closed by me.
one of the sigtar.gz files had somehow become extracted into a directory of the same name within the target directory.
The name existed for both a file and a directory
I removed the directory version. Reran the backup and no longer received the error.
