Dark mode does not working on gnome 42.2

Hi,

I just installed gnome 42.2 on arch linux and was trying trying to get the dark theme to work. I have seen that some of the documentation says this should have come with libadawata/libhandy with Gnome 42. However, neither theming via gnome tweaks nor the settings app works as expected. What is going on here?

Do you have xdg-desktop-portal-gnome installed?

That seems to work, thanks. Seems like some apps like terminal need to use gnome-tweeks and legacy themes, which doesn’t seem ideal.

Applications need to be often updated to support the new Appearance switch.
