Hi, im new to gnome since i mainly use KDE on the desktop, but i just got myself a new laptop and decided try out gnome, and i very liked the overall UI design and the touchpad gestures, but when i enable HDR everything becomes dull/greyish, to the point that colors in SDR mode are more vibrant than in HDR, and there is no HDR brightness slider in the settings. Is there any way/hack to increase the luminance/HDR brightness?
They should just add an SDR brightness slider like KDE has imho.
I was also wondering about this. Does someone know if it’s planned? And if it’s not, is it possible to “bypass” this in other ways, like idk doing a custom ICC profile for HDR only (no idea)?
