Closing and generally managing issue on GitLab - flows, rights

There is a dedicated space for people reporting problems with translations:
Translation · GitLab (a great thing for sure!)
I am the coordinator of the Bulgarian team

How do we close and generally manage the issues? For example we have two issues that are solved now - 2 and 3

The GitLab guide points to having rights as Planner/Author/Assignee.

To assign an issue I’d guess one needs to have right as Planner. How do we obtain these?

Additionally as typically such issues are solved by Vertimus submission, rather than commit/pull request (glib is an exception) so then the [Issue Closing Pattern](Issue closing pattern | GitLab flow) is unusable.

Any pointers would be helpful.

Team coordinators should get the Developer role on the GitLab product for their team. We’ve done it for all coordinators that were appointed since we moved from lists to GitLab, but coordinators from before that time may or may not have the necessary role yet. I have now given you that role. You will now be able to manually close the issues. You are correct about closing patterns, they’re of no use here.
