I know that Felipe Borges is doing a rewrite of boxes () in his repo:
He informs:
This is a prototype of a new implementation of GNOME Boxes using GTK4 and libmks. This is in an early development state/prototyping phase. Use at your own risk.
At the same time the old (I suppose) repo of boxes exists at:
Both have links to the same flatpak on flathub. On the flathub page the gnome/boxes gitlab repo is linked. I am confused. I have installed and tried boxes and I would like to comment on potential bugs that I have found but I first need to be sure about which source code I am running. Thank you.
Of you have installed Boxes from Flathub, then the official repository in the GNOME group is the repository where you need to report bugs:
The other repository you mentioned is a fork by the developer. Unless you manually created an application from the code in this repository, you shouldn’t have installed it from there.
Also, the code from the fork will, when the work is completed, brought back to the official repository.
