Change system font/scale UI

Hi

On my 4K monitor, the font and UI of gimp is very very small. The font is almost unreadable.

  • How can you change the system font of gimp (in windows)?
    I searched everywhere but it just is not existing?

Could it be added in next version? I think changing the system font is essential feature :slight_smile:

  • is there a way to scale up/down the UI (as for example in Blender)?

I think both features are must-have feature because high resolution monitors are being used more and will become the standard in the near future.

PS: I have found to increase the size of the toolbox icons but not the other widgets of the UI

Do you use gimp 2.99 ?

If yes, try to set the environment variable “GDK_SCALE=2”
