Can't Import From Application

for some reason I can’t Import From Application anything:

The Preferences dialog doesn’t help:

I tied all Ubuntu-provided versions and Flathub one.

Why are you trying to import from application?

This is leftover from the f-spot import and I thought I had actually removed from the ui

Oh, please do then because I really thought it’s something with my setup or Shotwell itself.
I tried to import from Google Photos and thought it’s a way to go…

Can I ask you where you got the impression that Shotwell can import from Google Photos?

Maybe because it can export to Google Photos?
