Cannot submit gtk/gtk-3-24/po-properties - runninng in circles

Hello,
I am trying to upload the updated translation of gtk/gtk-3-24/po-properties

I cannot get the vertimus site to allow “Submit to repository”

Here is an example:

  1. I choose “Archive the actions” to clean up state
  2. I upload a translation via “Upload a new translation”
  3. I upload a corrected translation via “Upload a proofread translation” (Because I do not get the “Submit to repository” option in the Action drop down
  4. Then I do mark as ready to submit, then reserve to submit and so on but I never get to “Submit to repository”

There is this note on top of page: Module Translation: gtk

Please note that GTK in versions 4.6 and earlier has both po and po-properties UI domains. If you add a new language in either domain, you have to commit both files in Git even if one of them contains 0 translations, unless GTK build will break in /po-properties.

But there are translations for Bulgarian in po and po-properties.

I did that several times but even though I am the coordinator of the Bulgarian translation for GNOME and should have rights - I never get to Submit to repository.

Am I missing something obvious?

There is an open bug about this. GTK3 Properties module (#453) · Issues · Infrastructure / damned-lies · GitLab

I see the same problem now, and as in that bug I could get the “Submit” option to appear again by refreshing that branch manually.

You can test now and see if it is there again for you. This fix doesn’t seem to stick too long, though, and the problem reappears.

(refreshing branches manually is a button available for language coordinators, at the right in the image)

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the workaround. It worked! I managed to merge the translation in time for GNOME 47 (and also 46.5)
