Cannot delete a web app if its name has an apostrophe

I wanted to change the name of the web application which I had just added. I did not find how to change its name, so I decided to remove it and add again with a different name. However, I cannot remove it: clicking the button in “about:applications” does not have any consequences or noticable effects.

The name of the application has an apostrophe (') in it, so I decided to test creating web apps with and without the apostrophe. When I add one or two apostrophes to the name of the web app when installing it, I cannot delete the app later. When I do not add any apostrophes, the pop-up appears and allows me to delete the respective app successfully. For the same website, if I add an apostrophe, I cannot delete remove the app.

If you have a GNOME GitLab account, then please report a bug for this. Otherwise, I can do so.

I have created a report in the tracker: Cannot delete web apps with apostrophe in name (#2516) · Issues · GNOME / Epiphany · GitLab
