Cannot compile glib 2.9.6

i keep getting the error that there is multiple definitions of many different things and i don’t know why, i’m following the included install instructions to a T

GLib 2.9.6 was a development snapshot released nearly 20 years ago, so I very much doubt you’re trying to build it.

Check which version of GLib you’re building, and which instructions you’re following.

i see what happened. i was trying to download the latest version of glib and since 2.9 was greater than 2.8 i thought it was more recent and forgot to check the date. thanks for letting me know haha
